2025 Season Reminders

Match season is upon us (Steel Challenge this Sunday, 3/2) ...so that means we have a few administrative reminders:

Anyone attending a match (both competitors and spectators) are required to complete a waiver their first time out to the range each year. The waiver is online, and we suggest completing it before arriving to the range (it will save you time during registration). Here is a link: https://waiver.smartwaiver.com/w/joyjkh7qmb7hhk78bjghe6/web/

We recommend that you add our email address, scott@dynamicshootingsports.us, to your contacts in your email client (Gmail, Yahoo, etc). We use 3rd party software to send out communications regarding matches and registration through Practiscore and Mail Chimp. Email clients will sometimes push these emails to the spam/junk folder because these programs recognize the IP address of the 3rd party program is not the same as the IP address of our email. You don't want to miss out on critical or timely information.

Walk-ins for registration for the weekend matches is prohibited. First, we have a limited amount of parking, thus we need to be able to manage the number of vehicles on the property. Second, most of our weekend matches will have a waiting list in order to compete. It isn't fair to those that are on the waiting list if we take any walk-ins.

If you are registered for a match that you can't attend for any reason, please use Practiscore to submit a "withdrawal request". Do not send text messages or emails, use Practiscore to withdraw (this keeps all the match registration in one place for us to manage). If you are going to withdraw, please do so at least 48 hours before the start of the match. This gives us enough time to fill the slot.

Because we are seeing such a high volume for match registrations (we have 25 names on the waiting list for both USPSA matches in March), we will be handling no-shows and late withdrawals differently for 2025. If a competitor no-shows or has a late withdrawal (less than 48 hours before a match), the competitor will not be allowed to register for the next match in that series. The 2nd offense will be a 3 match penalty and a 3rd offense will most likely result in being disallowed to compete in any weekend matches for the remainder of the season. We realize that some folks may not like this policy, but we are trying to make being able to compete on the weekend at DSS fair for everybody. We appreciate your understanding on this matter.

That's it (for now). Thank you for taking the time to read through all of this. We look forward to seeing you at the range!
