United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA) matches have been held at the range for over 10 seasons now. The USPSA club was originally started in 2014 by Don Maher and Michael Day before moving to our current location. Don is still very active in the matches by performing the role of Match Director for these events. He is assisted by Scott Beebe and a host of volunteers.
We host 2 weekend matches every month on the 2nd Sunday and 4th Saturday from March through the beginning of November. Most matches consist of 5-7 stages (4-5 field courses and 1-2 classifiers) with an average round count of 150 rounds. All of our matches are open to the public and you do not have to be a DSS Season Pass Holder or USPSA member to participate.
For 2025, the USPSA Club Championship will be returning. This is a 2-day match in late September that will feature at least 12 stages and a round count of around 300 required hits. More information will be released closer to the match.
Please check out the Calendar for upcoming matches, to register and to view results. All competitors and spectators are expected to sign a liability release and follow all posted safety rules for the range.
Please visit USPSA for more information or Contact us directly.

Disclaimers - All competitors, volunteers and spectators will be required to sign a release of liability in order to attend the match. Dynamic Shooting Sports, LLC reserves the right to make adjustments and/or changes to the format, participation and/or payouts at their sole discretion.
Multi-gun competitions feature the use of pistol, rifle (or PCC), and shotgun in the same stage and produce a very dynamic experience!
DSS is excited to be able to continue to offer this style of match in 2025 with the support of our friends from Rubber City Armory. We will be using a modified version of the UML rule set for this year. All of our matches are open to the public and you do not have to be a DSS Season Pass Holder or UML member to participate.
Matches in 2025 will be held on the Saturday before the 2nd Sunday of the month from March through November. Please check out the Calendar for upcoming matches and to register. Results can be found on the Scores page of Practiscore by typing “DSS” in the search box.
Multi-Gun matches for 2025 will alternate each month between our traditional format and a PCSL 2-Gun format. Please check our PCSL page for more details.
Our multi-gun matches consist of 4 stages with an average round count for the match of 100 rounds each of pistol, rifle and birdshot and sometimes 5 shotgun slugs (but we always recommend that you bring more).

We are using an older United Multi-gun League rules in 2025 until we complete our own rules. Therefore, our multi-gun match is now considered an “out-law” format and is not affiliated with USSL or UML. Here is a link to an Equipment and Rules Summary we have prepared.
Disclaimers - All competitors, volunteers and spectators will be required to sign a release of liability in order to attend the match. Dynamic Shooting Sports, LLC reserves the right to make adjustments and/or changes to the format, participation and/or payouts at their sole discretion.
Dynamic Steel is our "outlaw" steel match that is held on Wednesday nights throughout the year (weather permitting). The format for this match is best described as Steel Challenge meets USPSA. Matches are designed with 4-5 stages that can be completed in an hour to an hour-and-a half (depending on attendance). The stages are different every week (we have attaches some example Stage Descriptions to this page).
This is a great match for both new shooters that are interested in giving the practical shooting sports a try and for experienced competitors looking to keep their skills sharp. New shooters need a handgun or PCC, OWB holster, 3-4 magazines (15+ round capacity), 2-3 magazine pouches (or just use your pockets), eye and ear protection, and 150-200 rounds of ammunition. Round count for the match is usually 90-100 rounds, but it is always good to bring some extra.
We will start running Dynamic Steel matches in 2025 during the week as soon as there is enough daylight, hopefully by the beginning of April and plan to continue them through the end of October. There is no preregistration for these matches. Just show up ready to shoot between 3:00 and 7:00pm (we finish earlier later in the season). Cost for this match is $10 and re-shoots are only $5. There is no need to pre-register for these matches. All competitors and spectators are expected to sign a liability release and follow all posted safety rules for the range.
Rules and equipment divisions are similar to other shooting sports, but we also have a rimfire division (pistol or carbine are acceptable). We are working to complete a dedicated set of rules and will post them HERE when complete. Scoring is time-plus-penalties, is kept electronically, and final results are posted on Practiscore. Just type in “DSS” on the Scores page and all of the match results for Dynamic Shooting Sports will populate on their page.
The sample stages shown here are illustrative to help new shooters have a better understanding of what the course of fire might look like. These are not the actual stages that will be used. In fact, the stages change from one week to the next.

American Defense MFG is back again for 2025 as the title sponsor for our Rifle Series! The rifle series will consist of a minimum of 5 matches for this season. These matches are open to the public, you do not have to be a DSS Season Pass holder or UML member to participate. You may shoot as many or as few of the matches as you like, you do not have to participate in every match to enjoy these events.
Matches will consist of 4-5 Stages. Round count should be around 175-200 rounds but we always suggest that you bring more.
We are working on writing our own set of rules for this series. However, this a larger task than we expected. As such, we will be utilizing an older set of United Rifle League rules and scoring for 2025. We will provide a link to the rules HERE as soon as we can get them uploaded properly
Here are the divisions we will recognize at our matches for 2024:
Open – No limitations on accessories and rifle supporting devices may be added/removed at any time. “Traditional” rifles only with 5.45x39 caliber or higher.
Limited – Rifles may be equipped with no more than (1) non-magnified optical sight, no rifle supporting devices.
Tac Ops – Rifles may be equipped with no more than (1) magnified optical sight, no rifle supporting devices.
Heavy – Rifles may be equipped with no more than (1) magnified optical sight, no rifle supporting devices (minimum 7.62X51mm NATO).
PCC – No limitations on accessories for the carbine and supporting devices may be added/removed at any time.
Rimfire - Same Open Division except only .22LR ammunition may be used.
Changes starting 2023 - Added the Rimfire Division (rimfire firearms may only be used in this division, unlike last season where they were allowed in other divisions). We will also be allowing “braced” carbines in all divisions, but they must adhere to the ammunition and all other equipment rules for those divisions.
These matches will be a trophy series for 2025. We feel this will allow us to recognize more shooters in more divisions. The scoring for our Rifle Series will be based on the URL’s time-plus-point method. At the end of the season, we will tally up the points for each shooter for the best 4 series matches he/she has participated in (best 3 matches if not able to shoot all 6 matches). The shooter with the highest amount of points will be declared the winner. So the more times you shoot, the better your chances at winning.
American Defense MFG has provided us with one of their UIC Mod2 Carbines and their 14.5” Competition Rifle. We will have the rifles available for anyone to use at these matches. Just bring some 55gr .223 Rem or 5.56mm ammo and you will be ready to play.
Please check out the Calendar for upcoming matches, to register and to view results. All competitors and spectators are expected to sign our liability waiver and follow all posted safety rules for the range.
Make sure to follow American Defense MFG and all our business partners and sponsors on Facebook. Thank you for your support…we will see you at the range!

With the popularity of 2-Gun at our Multi-Gun matches, we felt it was a logical next step to start offering this style of match for 2025. We plan on hosting 4 PCSL 2-Gun matches this year. They will alternate month-to-month with our regular Multi-Gun format on the Saturday prior to our 2nd Sunday USPSA match.
PCSL was started in early 2021 by multi-national champion Max Leograndis. This format offers 2 divisions, Practical and Competition and uses hit-factor scoring (so this format will have more focus on accuracy than our regular format). We have included some documents that summarize PCSL rules. For more details, please check out the PCSL website.

The Steel Challenge is a speed shooting competition governed by the Steel Challenge Shooting Association (SCSA) that consists of eight standardized stages with steel targets in three sizes; small circular, large circular and rectangular targets. Competitors are scored solely by the time it takes them to complete each stage, and the match winner is the competitor with the lowest overall time.
DSS first started hosting Steel Challenge matches late in 2022. For 2025, we have planned for at least 6 matches on the First Sunday of various months (please check our Calendar for specific dates). Participants do not have to be DSS Season Pass holders or SCSA members to enjoy these events.

The main mission of Dynamic Shooting Sports, LLC is to grow the practical shooting sports in our region. This is not a goal that we can accomplish on our own. We realize that in order for the practical shooting sports to grow, we need strong organizations, sponsors and other clubs and match directors to come together and partner with us.
Below is a list of other "local" level matches in our region. Please make sure to support these organization. It is also a good idea to confirm matches beforehand; schedules change, clubs do not operate all year and cancellations due to weather do occur from time to time.
