It has been a busy year at Dynamic Shooting Sports! It is hard to believe that we have just 6 weeks left in our match season for 2024. With that, let’s jump right in and fill you in on what's happening at the range:

Attendance – First off, THANK YOU to everyone that has been coming out to our matches this year. We continue to have a constant stream of new shooters and have had a bunch of formers shooters rejoin us after years of absences. This, coupled with our dedicated group of regular competitors, has resulted in annual attendance records already in our USPSA and Dynamic Steel programs, as well as expected attendance increases in our Multi-Gun and Steel Challenge programs. Again, THANK YOU for all the support!

Match Wait Lists – We are seeing as many as 20+ names going on our wait list for weekend matches. As an ongoing practice, we usually wait until about one month prior to an event to open registration. This practice is a result from previous seasons when we experienced competitors registering for the whole year but then not attending most matches with last minute or no communication. We have also been diligent in communicating expectations to shooters that have repeatedly withdrawn or not shown for events. Even with the high numbers on our wait lists, we are still working through a large portion of the list to get shooters in the match. What does this mean to you? It means please don’t hesitate to register even if the match is full, and please be patient, there is a good chance that you will be approved for the match (keep an eye on your email in-box).

Rifle Series – Current standings for the ADM Rifle Series are posted our website. There are several close battles in many of the divisions. We currently are scoring the best 3 matches of the season for each competitor in each division. If we can complete both the 10/12 and 11/9 matches, then we will score the best 4 matches of the season for each competitor in each division..

USPSA Classifiers – Another record this season, we have already fielded 21 classifiers this year! That is already 2 more than any previous season with 3 regular matches left on the calendar. But we aren’t going to stop there! We are planning on having at least one all-classifier weekday match in October (and hopefully two). We are currently planning on the first match to be on Friday, 10/18. Registration is open.

2025 Season Passes – The renewal period for 2025 Season Passes will begin on Monday, 10/14, and will run through Sunday, 11/10. During this 4-week period, current pass holders will have the opportunity to renew and guarantee their slot for next year (additional information will be emailed separately to the current pass holders). As of this email, we have over 200 names on the waiting list, but we only brought in about a dozen new pass holders for 2024. Because of this large number of individuals/families looking to purchase a pass, the expected limited number of available slots for new pass holders, and our overwhelming success in the practical shooting sports, we are revising our waiting list policy for 2025 Season Passes: Starting for 2025 Season Passes, new pass holders must have attended at least 4 matches in 2024 to be considered for 2025 Season Pass with individuals that attended more than 4 matches being prioritized (the more matches somebody attends, the more likely they will receive a pass). This policy does not apply to current, renewing pass holders. We know this change will disappoint many folks that are already on the waiting list, but feel it is more in-line with our mission “to support and grow the practical shooting sports in Northeast Ohio”. Even with this policy, due to the limited number of passes we offer each year (approximately 150), we anticipate that there will be individuals that have met the new requirement but still won’t get the opportunity to purchase a pass for next year.
